Oscar Isaac and Elvira Lind looking like the best

Things We Saw Today: Oscar Isaac and Elvira Lind’s Epic Met Gala Apperance

It's Oscar Isaac in a skirt and Elvira Lind in a tux. It rules.

Last night was a big night in New York City. While I was uptown for my screening of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, others were out in their finest looks for the Met Gala. The theme was Gilded Glamour, and while it felt like no one watched The Gilded Age, there were some standout moments. For me, Blake Lively was my favorite look “on theme” because she was the boom of New York City in a beautiful gown.

But another fave might not have been the best at being on “theme,” but he surely knew how to rock a skirt. I’m talking about Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac! Heading to the carpet with his wife, filmmaker Elvira Lind, the two were decked out in their own tuxes. Isaac’s had a skirt, and Lind’s had pants, and it was the perfect kind of subversion of gender norms that we love!

It helps that it was accompanied by a good video of Isaac saying “Yes ma’am” to his wife.

As always, it’s just nice to be reminded that Oscar Isaac is one of our best, and with the news being absolutely horrible, it’s fun to have him to root for.
