Maybe asking Twitter to write your account bio for you when everyone is trying to figure out what your movie is going to be about isn’t the greatest idea—especially if said movie has a lot rumors circulating online about it.
That’s not to say that the Spider-Man: No Way Home walked right into that one, but … the Spider-Man: No Way Home account walked right into Twitter just dragging the movie and all the rumors circulating around. Right now, we know the bare minimum about the third installment in the Tom Holland franchise. We know that Tom Holland is there and that it is called No Way Home and everything is a mess of “Wait, was that an official announcement or a rumor?”
When the official Twitter account said they were spending time to write up some bios, I didn’t expect this to be a big deal.

Here’s the thing: We all know that they’re coming, and even if Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are not actually in Spider-Man: No Way Home, we’re all going to pretend like they are and that’s that. But it is funny that either the Spider-Man Twitter account didn’t have any idea that Twitter was aware of what fans were talking about or that the two worked in tandem on this.
Right now, we’re all just waiting for any kind of information about Spider-Man: No Way Home, and sure we just got the title, but that clearly isn’t enough for us. Can’t we just get a little information about the rest of the cast or can you tell me who Kraven the Hunter is? Anything at all?
Does Twitter know something we don’t, or are we getting too into this and Twitter was just making things up and we’re clinging to nothing because we’re bored? It’s probably the latter, but still, I’d like for this to be true. Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland all on-screen together? I can die happy.
All I want is some information. Who can we talk to at Sony to get something? Anything at all. I’ll take just like the name of a store they go to or something at this point because now that we have a title for this movie. I just want all the Spider-Man content I can get, even if that means that I’m going to believe that Twitter knows something until someone tells me differently.
