Use the RunPee App to Time Your Movie Theater Bathroom Trip Without Missing Anything

Recommended Videos

Are you really bad at timing your bathroom breaks, suffer from a small bladder, or prone to finishing half your soda during the previews of a movie screening? Tired of missing crucial scenes because you chose the wrong time to take your bathroom break? RunPee is here to help.

Yes, that is a somewhat unappealing name with a, uh, really yellow logo, but the site currently has the endorsement of Rashida Jones, Stephen Fry, and Hugh Jackman (who was recommended the app by Anne Hathaway). RunPee helps identify “3-5 minute long scenes that don’t have crucial plot twists, or LOL moments, or exciting action” that are ideal for a bathroom break at the theaters. They also let you know if there are any after-credit scenes, something that’s always good to know.

The description writes:

“The RunPee database is constantly updated–the day movies are released in theaters–to tell you the best times to run and pee mid-movie. And, of course, we provide a synopsis with each Peetime, so you will know exactly what you missed…The built-in Runpee Timer will alert you, by vibration, when a Peetime is coming – so you don’t have to worry about bothering the people around you.

Now you can relax and enjoy the movie…without wondering when to run and pee. We’ve got you and your bladder covered.”

RunPee is currently available on iPhone, Android, and Windows.
