Wonder Woman Gets Her Own Justice League Teaser Because She’s Awesome Like That

Make way for the Queen. Actually, Diana is still a warrior princess but that doesn’t mean she can’t hold her own in a new teaser for the upcoming Justice League film. It’s less than 30 seconds and half of that is a black screen transitioning to the next shot but I don’t care! The full trailer is slated to hit the interwebs on Saturday but right now, let’s just bask in this moment. It’s Wonder Woman looking like the badass that she is set against an equally awesome soundtrack. Here. For. It.

Justice League, which also features Batman, Superman, Aquaman and the Flashwon’t arrive in theaters until November 17. However, her solo film is scheduled for release on June 2 and that happens to be right around the corner. The film will be set in the early 20th century during WWI while she’s living on the island of Themyscira. After a pilot crash lands carrying an important formula, she leaves her home in an effort to end the war.

We first met her character in Batman v Superman and for actress Gal Gadot, it was important that her presence required something more than just standing around and looking pretty. “For BvS it was important for me that we show how independent she is. She is not relying on a man, and she’s not there because of a love story. She’s not there to serve someone else,” she told Glamour.

And it looks like that will carry over into the other films as well. Can’t wait!
