Another Attack on Titan Movie Could Be Headed Your Way

Another Attack on Titan film could be heading to theaters in the not-so-distant future. Deadline reports that Warner Bros. is currently working on securing the rights for the Japanese manga, which was written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The project would be developed by David Heyman, who recently produced  Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the remainder of humanity live in connected cities isolated by giant walls designed to keep the Titans out. These enormous humanoids feed on humans without an apparent reason and are the reason that the world’s population is so small. When a Colossal Titan breaches one of those massive walls, three heroes—Eren Jaeger, his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackerman, and friend Armin Arlert—decide to enlist in the Survey Corps (an elite group of soldiers fighting against the Titans) in order to avenge the death of Eren’s mother and reclaim their world.

In 2015, the popular manga was adapted into a live-action film by Shin Godzilla co-director Shinji Higuchi. The Warner Bros. film would reportedly be a remake of that. Are you into this? Let me know in the comments.
