Monday Cute: Give the Gift of a Cat This Holiday Season

Recommended Videos

It’s the holiday season, which means it’s time for cats to play with a bunch of wrapping paper–and perhaps get wrapped themselves!

Playing with wrapping paper is fun, after all, and if a cat sees you messing around with some paper, the temptation to go and play could be too high to resist. If you have a patient, low-key cat who likes hiding inside of paper bags or boxes, then perhaps your cat will enjoy being gently wrapped up in paper, like a little present!

In the comments section for this video, another user has uploaded a video of herself wrapping her cat in a similar fashion—although she resists the temptation to put a bow on her cat’s head at the end of the wrapping. Both of the cats in these videos seem to genuinely enjoy the experience; you can bet they’d be bringing out their claws if they didn’t. It’s probably comfy and snuggly inside that paper.

Obviously, this adorable way of playing with your cat could go horribly wrong if your cat doesn’t like this sort of thing… know thy cat, folks, and tread carefully! But if your cat seems like the type to enjoy getting wrapped in a sheet of paper, go for it. And send us the pics.

Happy holidays, folks.
