Who knew “Alexander Hamilton” meshed so well with Beyoncé’s “Flawless?”
I know Thanksgiving has passed but I’m going to spend today giving thanks to this beautiful #Ham4Bey mashup featuring a group of extremely talented singers. Assembling like the musical Avengers, vocalists India Carney, Vincint, Mariah Maxwell, Jej Millanes, Kelly Margareth Lee and Jamond McCoy teamed up to perform a seamless combination of some of Beyoncé’s greatest hits with songs from the Broadway musical Hamilton.
In the seven-minute video, you get to hear surprising combos like Beyoncé’s “Freedom” off her Lemonade album and “My Shot” as performed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anthony Ramos, Daveed Diggs, Okieriete Onaodowan, Leslie Odom, Jr. and company. The project was created by Michael Korte and Jared Jenkins is credited with arranging the music.
