In case you had any doubts about whether or not Man of Steel 2 is actually happening, Amy Adams is here to help. While promoting her sci-fi film Arrival, she gave an update on the much talked about project. The most surprising thing isn’t so much the announcement, but the fact that she wasn’t one of the first people told about it.
“I read about Man of Steel 2 when you guys did,” Amy Adams revealed to Hey U Guys, according to Comic Book Resources. “A lot of times I find out after the fact, which is fine, it’s completely normal, it’s not indicative of anything. But yeah, I know they’re working on a script and I know it’s in the works.”
Because it’s still very early in the process, we don’t have many details. Obviously, Henry Cavill will be back as Superman and it’s highly likely that Adams will reprise her role as Lois Lane. The two are already set to appear in the upcoming Justice League film to be released next year so there’s that. They’ll be joined by Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and more.
