While I recently confessed my newbie status as a Star Trek fan, this is something I think I might have to add to my Build-a-Bear collection (which so far only stands at, uh, one bear). Build-a-Bear (who we adore for their cute and cuddly fandom-related collections) is now offering one more special collection to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Star Trek franchise.
In addition to the regular 50th Anniversary bear which is decorated with the classic gold logo, you can also get bears with the classic red, blue and gold uniforms. There’s also an adorable Spock bear (set phasers to gimme) which comes in two variations–the standard Spock bear making his classic salute for $28, and the special Commander Spock set which includes uniform and phaser for $55.50.
