Celebrate International Women’s Day With the Shirt Off Matt McGorry’s Back

If you want to close out your International Women’s Day by giving money to a worthy, female-focused cause, check out this shirt designed by How to Get Away With Murder and Orange is the New Black‘s Matt McGorry, who designed the above shirt and will be giving the proceeds to pro-choice organization NARAL (National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws).

In an interview with Marie Claire, he explains the reasoning behind the shirt:

When I was designing the shirt, I tried to imagine what I would’ve needed to hear a year ago to flip the switch and make me think about feminism differently; to think about what women go through everyday that I don’t. It’s crazy to me that I was blind to so many issues because I’d never had to deal with them as a man. When you’re in a position of privilege, it’s easy to take for granted how much you benefit.

If you follow McGorry on Twitter, you know that he’s pretty much made it a habit to work hard to check his privilege while using his platform to amplify the efforts of marginalized communities as they work toward equality on all fronts. It’s pretty rad. The fact that he stars on two really diverse, feminist TV shows doesn’t hurt either. I’m definitely a fan!

If you want to get the t-shirt, CLICK HERE and you can have your own for $22.99! It’s only available for a limited time, so snag it while you can!
