John Romero went ahead and pulled a Kill Bill-style Hattori Hanzo and created his first DOOM level in more than 21 years. He built his own version of E1M8 (that’s “Knee Deep in the Dead” or The Last Level of DOOM if you weren’t aware) and placed it on his Dropbox for everyone to check out.
If you’re like me, then you’re already working on getting DOOM installed to check this level out. Oh, and you’re probably also feeling really old after looking over some of the replies to his Tweet. This one in particular messed me up.
