Arkham Knight‘s PC release was sooooo bad … (How bad was it!?) It was so bad that Warner Bros. Interactive yanked the game from Steam for months. But their efforts to make it up to people are no (Joker-bad) joke—they’re giving away the rest of the Arkham series free to PC buyers now that the game has come back to Steam today.
Not only can anyone who purchased Batman: Arkham Knight on PC and got burned by its issues grab a free copy of the entire series—that they probably already played, but oh well—that preceded it (Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins, and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate), but the offer is good for new customers. Anyone who buys Arkham Knight before 12AM PT on November 17 will also find the entire series in their Steam libraries in December.
If you’ve been putting off the Arkham series, now might be just the time. Arkham developer Rocksteady is also working on a Community Challenge Pack of new challenge maps for January, and PC owners will get access to those before console players. In addition, if you’re so inclined, there’s a Steam contest to create Arkham-inspired cosmetic items for Team Fortress 2, which will be given to to TF2 players who bought Arkham before the same November 17 deadline.
Maybe all that can turn sad Batman’s frown upside down? Come on. Let’s put a smile on that face.
