Wheee.

Over the weekend Jason Momoa told fans he “will not be busting out a bunch of jokes” as Aquaman, and now Jesse Eisenberg is also promising a laugh-free film.

During an appearance on NBC’s Today Show to promote his new book of short stories, Eisenberg talked briefly about Dawn of Justice, particularly what it was like to take on the Lex Luthor mantle:

It is like the most incredible character. It was written by this guy, Chris Terrio — this is like his first movie after Argo. He’s just this brilliant writer of characters. So this movie is, you know, it’s not like a kind of cartoonish superhero movie. It’s this very serious and well acted, well written, well directed movie. It’s really phenomenal.
