It’s May the 4th, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens has delivered on Star Wars Day with a bunch of Annie Leibovitz set photos, character reveals, and more about the upcoming movie!

According to Vanity Fair, Lupita Nyong’o will play a space pirate named Maz Kanata!

…Who will be built entirely with CGI. Sigh. But she will have her own castle—a wretched hive of scum and villainy as seen in images from the main hall:

Apparently, our Vader-looking baddie from the trailers, Kylo Ren—played by Adam Driver—commands the First Order, which has its base on an ice planet for some symmetry with the rebel hideout in The Empire Strikes Back. Here he is—minus his headgear—along with a couple of snowtroopers:

Variety’s got a few more pictures, including Oscar Isaac as Resistance (the new Rebel Alliance) leader Poe Dameron posing next to his X-wing, as well as a promise to reveal one additional character Tuesday if you join their newsletter today. Hopefully, we’re in for more information today along with additional photos and plot details once the June issue of Vanity Fair finally hits newsstands.

Until then, enjoy this short video from the photo shoot in which the cast and crew talk about what The Force Awakens will do for Star Wars fans both past and future.
