Agents of SHIELD Casts White Collar’s Tim DeKay As A SHIELD-y Family Member

Brotherly love (?)

S.H.I.E.L.D. might be decimated, but that’s not stopping the Agents of SHIELD team from reeling in the great guests stars. The latest actor to be appearing on the CoulSquad is White Collar agent Tim DeKay. Continue on if you want to know who DeKay will DePlay!

Though Agent Ward hasn’t been having the greatest time lately, what with the whole Hydra/locked-in-a-basement-while-suicidal thing going on, he’s going to be getting a little bro-help. DeKAy will be joining the SHIELD folks as Ward’s older brother, Senator Christian Ward. We should expect to see him in the sixth episode of this season, “A Fractured House,” in early November.

It might be worth remembering the last time Ward spoke about his brother (in “The Well”), it was when he told Skye about how Christian used to force Grant to beat up their younger brother. We don’t know if this story is true, but I’m going to vote “yes” for dramatic reasons.

And, hey, remember how at the end of my last Agents of SHIELD recap I said that we absolutely need to see Chris Pratt show up on the show this season? It looks like I’m not the only one with Star-Lord on the brain; Chloe Bennet (Skye) also wants some Ooga Chaka on the bus.

“When we were at the Guardians of the Galaxy premiere,” Digital Spy reports Bennet said, “he was dancing and just kind of having a good time and I was trying to be part of the cool kids. I would love to have him come [on Agents of SHIELD]. Peter Quill, man.”

We are all on board for this one, Marvel. I need some small-screen Star-Lord in my life.
