At this time, we can neither confirm nor deny reports that Hot Toys has successfully cloned Zoe Saldana. Nor can we confirm that they are in possession of a shrink ray.

These images popped up on Hot Toys’ Facebook page this weekend, and our jaws dropped accordingly. The Rocket and Groot set was top notch, but this…this is just unreal. By which I mean very, very real. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this figure hop out of its box and crush my dreams of blowing up moons.

Each figure sports fabric hair, poseable joints, a figure stand, two swords (one extended, one folded), and three pairs of “interchangeable palms,” which is a phrase I’ve never written before. The uncanny head, it should be mentioned, is hand-painted. If you’ve got deep pockets, the figure can be pre-ordered at Sideshow Collectibles for $199, with an expected ship date of April 2015. No word yet if there will be a Nebula figure to have expensive sword fights with, but we can hope.
