Someone Used Stephen Amell’s Arrow Abs For Joe Manganiello True Blood Fan Art And We Are So Confused

Simply ABulous!

Ok, so you know we’re not usually “HEY, LOOK AT THESE BODY PARTS” here on The Mary Sue, but we hope you’ll excuse us just this once. This tweet crossed my path today and at first I wasn’t sure what the hub-bub was. And then I saw it – True Blood’s Joe Manganiello and Arrow’s Stephen Amell HAD THE SAME CHEST. I’d seen the Arrow poster before, but they couldn’t possibly have used one actor’s body for the other in official advertising, right? Turns out the True Blood poster is fan made. But now the question remains – why steal Amell’s scarred pecs and six pack?

After a quick search, I found out this is actually fan art created by Emre Ünaylı. To which we say, why the body doubling? Not for nothing but Manganiello has been shirtless in just about EVERY role he’s ever played. Apparently Ünaylı was getting a lot of flack from all sides about this and decided to post a few tweets as explanation to save time.

I’m just gonna leave this Google image search here.
