Stephen Colbert Paid Tribute to Letterman Like Only Stephen Colbert Can

Things have been moving pretty quickly since David Letterman announced his retirement last week, and though we’re excited about Stephen Colbert as his replacement, it’s sad to see Letterman go. No one feels this bittersweet emotion more than Stephen Colbert, and no one can express it quite like him, either.

If he drops the politics and keeps the goofball hilarity like he did for this tribute, it’s going to be a tough choice between him and Jimmy Fallon. If you don’t already own a DVR, you’re going to want one now. (Also, if you don’t already own a DVR, what’s it like living in the 1700s?)
