The Spike VGAs have come and gone, leaving an aftertaste of pandering and lots and lots of cinematic trailers.

Not sure I agree with this last one.  On the one hand, Portal with multiplayer is going to be an experience of pure joy.  On the other hand, Arkham Asylum taught me to love being Batman.
