In Which We Make A Terrible Pun

The First Poster for Mockingjay – Part 1 Is On Fi-yuh!

Hah. You thought I meant that it’s really good and interesting, when really it’s a relatively dull poster featuring the same flaming Mockingjay we’ve been seeing for two movies. Fooled you! I’ll see myself out before the tomatoes start flying.

I dunno. I kinda like it when posters have a recurring theme with gradual changes.
    Book 1: The mockingjay pin
Book 2: The mockingjay pin in crosshairs
Book 3: The mockingjay breaking out and taking flight

Hey, you guys are the ones who always complain when posters just have the lead actors’/actresses faces on them and promote creative designs involving symbols.

The posters are using the same symbols as the books, that effectively represent how Katniss’ role has changed throughout the series.

Book 2 was a mockingjay in front of a clock, not in crosshairs.
