Holy Rusted Metal Batman!

The Story Of Batman, As Told By Christopher Nolan, In 3 Minutes [VIDEO]

If you’ve yet to see all of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy but would like to keep up with those conversations your friends have been having for the last few years, here’s a great solution. ScreenRant edited together clips of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises that cover all the basic plot points. I’m of the mind you should invest the 7 and a half hours it would take to watch all three in full but hey, not everyone loves Batman as much as I do.

A while ago, someone posted an image of their 2-year-old’s Joker Halloween costume. For some reason, Reddit just picked it up and made a meme out of it. It’s interesting to see what a baby Joker would concern himself over. Take a look.

For the amount of time Batman spends disguised and cleaning up crime in Gotham, he’s pretty darn bad at lying about it. Check out Pete Holmes as he parodies Batman: The Dark Knight for Front Page Films, the same folks that brought us the Batman Perfecting His Voice and If Batman Were Terrible With Riddles videos! Oh Batman, you’ve dug your hole of lies so deep not even you could grapple gun out of it.

Christopher Nolan Mentions the Joker and The Dark Knight Rises (and How the Two Will Intersect)

The untimely death of Heath Ledger was shocking and sad not least because he was so young but also because he impressed so much in his work. Whether it was industry insiders or fans, like myself, who’d grown up with him as a reliable hartthrobby leading man and were eager to watch him take the Joker to places we’d never seen the character before in cinema, there were a lot of people who felt that a historic acting career had been cut short just as it was starting to hit its stride.

And, okay, I’m a little ashamed to say that one of my other immediate thoughts was to wonder how this would affect The Dark Knight and the movies that came after it, and how Christopher Nolan‘s uncompromising commitment to his stories and their thematic arcs would conflict with the desire to do right by a colleague now gone. Nolan himself talked to Empire about how the Joker will affect The Dark Knight Rises, and the rest is going behind the cut for those who don’t want that question answered until they actually see the movie. So if you’re one of those people don’t read past this point.

Check out these My Little Pony figures done up like the cast of the famous sci-fi show while you’re waiting for episode 2 to premiere in a few months.
