Iconic Images Redone With Star Wars Action Figures

this exists

Cool project alert! Star Wars enthusiast David Eger has been conducting a weekly photo project called 52 Weeks of Star Wars (a continuation of his previous project, 365 Days of Clones), which features characters from Star Wars rearranged and photoshopped into recreations of famous images of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Movie posters, album covers, historical photographs and paintings; hell, it’s like they weren’t in a galaxy far, far away after all.

The recreations range pretty wide. From musicals of the 1970s…

To National Geographic covers

To gangsters…

And Sorkinized billionaires…

Campaign posters…

And, well, more gangsters. We’re not sure Marlon Brando would be flattered.

Check out more of Egers work here.
