It’s October 28th already, and you don’t have a Halloween costume. But worry not, because we’ve got your back.
Now You — Yes, You! — Can Make DIY Wonder Woman Flats! [Video]
by Elizabeth Giorgi | 3:30 pm, January 16th, 2012
Have an old pair of flats? A love of glitter? Admiration for Wonder Woman? These three things led me to this easy DIY which you can do in an afternoon. Feel free to modify for any color flat or glitter. Just be careful with the glitter … or you’ll end up with a “glitter apocalypse” in your house. I’m not kidding. Instructional video — and a link to more explicit instructions after the jump!
After your shoes have dried completely, seal the glitter with an unscented hairspray. That’s right, hairspray. It’s actually an incredible sealant once dry. Just be sure to put a sock in the interior of the shoe so it doesn’t get sticky inside.
