I mean, I’d watch this. We’d all watch this. These redesigns by artist NIA provide a glimpse of the Saturday morning cartoon that should have been, as well as two other portraits that are just plain rad. Speaking with The Escapist, NIA says her inspiration came from the vanishing presence of ’90s-style leading ladies: “We need more Xenas & Gabrielles, Buffys, and Dana Scullys on the big and small screens for little girls to admire.” Hear, hear.
