If, like me, you skipped the MTV Music Awards last night, then you probably missed the premiere of this commercial. When we last posted about CoverGirl’s makeup collection for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, many of you were concerned they were missing the point: Capitol = Bad. But this advertisement shows us CoverGirl is taking inspiration from the many Districts in Suzanne Collins’ novels for their line. Although the looks still scream Capitol from what we’ve seen in the film adaptations, I have a feeling they know exactly what they’re doing here.
