The Enterprise crew is back! Filming on Star Trek 3 has begun today in Vancouver, and cast members Zachary Quinto and Zoe Saldana have already taken to Instagram to mark the occasion! I have to admit, the Instagram photo above with Quinto rocking the Spock hair got me totally jazzed!

To mark the occasion, as well as to honor the memory of Leonard Nimoy, Quinto posted the following:

Zoe Saldana has also gotten in the Instagram spirit. Actually, her Instagram game is more hardcore as they’re apparently not using Uhura much right now. When actors get bored at work, they sometimes lip sync part of their favorite movies (like Coming to America, for instance):

Guess what this one is?? #boredatwork

And sometimes, they just chill in their trailers:

In other (sort of) news, it’s getting more and more likely that the third installment will be called Star Trek Beyond. While Paramount hasn’t confirmed a title, Simon Pegg casually dropped the name in a blog post, the Beyond title was registered with the Motion Picture Association of America, and StarTrekBeyond.com has been registered over at MarkMonitor.

Star Trek Beyond. I can dig it.

Whatever it’s called, it’s set to drop July 8th of next year.
