The casting for the Star Wars spin-off movie about young Han Solo has inspired a lot of debate—in part because we’re just not that excited about most of the young actors in contention for the role (sorry, guys). After receiving some joking-but-kinda-not-joking requests from our readers about the potential of an actress taking on the role, we decided to put together a top ten list of young women who we think could play the part.
Our only limiting factors in the decision process? She’d have to reasonably pass for age 18-25, as the young Han Solo movie casting call requested, and she needed to be able to embody that Han Solo attitude. We ended up with an impressive list of actresses—some obvious, some undeservedly obscure.
