The Han Solo Star Wars Story/Anthology film is getting ever so much closer to casting their young Han Solo. Friends, brace yourselves: this list is going to be interesting.

The shortlist of actors being looked at to play the intergalactic scruffy-looking nerf herder is about a dozen names long. A few highlights: Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, Emory Cohen, and Blake Jenner.

You’ll remember Miles Teller from his turn as Reed Richards in the latest version of Fantastic Four and as Peter Hayes in Divergent. Ansel Elgort also co-starred in the Divergent films, as well as in The Fault In Our Stars. Dave Franco, who is James Franco’s younger brother, was in Now You See Me as well as 21 Jump Street, among other roles.

Despite the fact that they begin filming for the Han Solo spinoff in January, they’re trying to sign on an actor now because the rumor is that young Han might be making an appearance in the upcoming Star Wars: Rogue One story. Boy, it’s getting pretty MCU-y in here, isn’t it?

Who do you think should don the vest and Corellian blood stripes? Who would you rather see on this list, if they’re not already on here?
