V Has Been Cancelled

It’s that time of year, when the major networks announce which pilots they’ll be picking up for the fall season… and which shows will no longer be  apart of their lineup. One recent addition to the loser lineup? ABC’s V.

Deadline sums it up succinctly in post mostly about Brothers & Sisters:

It’s official, there will be no sixth season of ABC’s family drama Brothers & Sisters. And V won’t return for a third season either. ABC just made the calls.

V debuted to mixed reviews, but dropped from a respectable 9.75 million views in 2009 to 5.72 million over its first season. Looks like ABC wasn’t willing to gamble on another run from it.

She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
