If you’d like to know how things would go if the last survivor of the zombie apocalypse wasn’t Will Smith, Vincent Price, or Charlton Heston, and instead was kind of a stoner, look no further than manvszombies’ Twitter feed. That is, if Twitter isn’t offline due to iPad traffic.

What defines manvszombies’ Gus is that in addition to his attention to the usual cliches of zombie disaster — violence, blood, foraging for food, the strategic relocating of your headquarters, and lots and lots of running — there’s plenty of random, offbeat detail, like listening to Dirt Nasty, watching Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and, uh, zombie sex. Gus also includes the occasional picture and video, so you can check those out too.

Our favorites, from the gruesome to the mundane:

Since the Miami Herald no longer exists, I’ll supply today’s headline: “Zombies Raid Mobile Home Community, Eat The Trash” (via)

Whoah. Just saw a group of kids throwing rocks at a zombie. I guess she committed adultery. (via)

Walked into the kitchen, and it happened again… Apparently while I was high last night I ate Twix with salsa. (via)

In related news awesome: there is actually a Wikipedia page for “zombie apocalypse.”

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
