Comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler‘s stint as Golden Globes hosts was one thing for folks like us who already love the two ladies, but it really seems to have struck a chord with a lot people. It was given a shoutout in this year’s Oscars, a nod in this year’s Emmy’s, and now, it’s being given an encore.

In August, it was rumored that though Fey and Poehler had agreed that their hosting duties would be a one time only thing, NBC was pursuing them to host again based on the big ratings they’d brought the network. Today, we have the official announcement from Deadline that Fey and Poehler will be back not just for 2014, but for 2015 as well.

From Deadline:

“Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writer/performers in our business and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season,” said NBC’s alternative programming president Paul Telegdy. “We’re elated they wanted to host together again and that they committed for the next two years.”

The Golden Globes are easy to fit into Fey’s schedule of pushing two to three new television pilots post-30 Rock, and Poehler’s schedule of producing and starring in Parks & Recreation, writing her first book, and producing a really awesome webseries for girls. And that’s not to mention any movie work the actresses are doing.
