Man orders 5 Big Macs, 50 nuggets, and a large Coke Zero at McDonald’s. Then he looks at the bill: ‘It comes up to $69’

One dude’s McDonald’s order ended up being extra nice. On social media, you never know when an eccentric moment will pay off.

Elie Haoui probably doesn’t need too much of an introduction for some of you. But, the TikTok star decided to roll through a McDonald’s and chaos ensued. He decided on 5 Big Macs, 50 nuggets, and a large Coke Zero to polish it all off.

Now, some of you scrolling at home are probably like big whoop. That’s a lot of beef, but actually probably isn’t a mountain of food. But, paying only $69 for the entire spread, that’s pretty dope.

You also have to throw in his friend’s 10 piece nugget, Hi-C and fries too. And, it still only came out to $69 from a McDonald’s. I don’t know if you’ve been to one of their establishments lately. But, that’s pretty much a miracle these days.

The comment section is basically people joking that they searched for “my mcdonalds order” and this is what popped up. Also, the giggle from the person taking the order is nothing short of delightful. 

All things considered, this a pretty wholesome corner of the Internet. Still, that’s a ton of food big dog. Also, anytime the I Think You Should Leave sketch comes up, I am obliged to at least smile.

Sometimes Your McDonald’s Order Comes Through For You

You don’t have to go very far in those comments to find people joking about I Think You Should Leave. To be fair, it’s hard to see anyone having a meltdown in a takeout line and not think about Tim Robinson absolutely losing it in that car. 

That moment was popular enough to become its own meme years ago. A characteristically frenzied version of the comedian is trying to take advantage of a pay-it-forward chain.

Robinson asks for “55 BURGERS, 55 FRIES, 55 TACOS, 55 PIES, 55 COKES, 100 TATER TOTS, 100 PIZZAS, 100 TENDERS, 100 MEATBALLS, 100 COFFEES, 55 WINGS, 55 SHAKES, 55 PANCAKES, 55 PASTAS, 55 PEPPERS, and 155 TATERS” in the sketch. 

It’s ridiculous, sure! But, it also speaks to the heightened climate we all endure everyday now. I Think You Should Leave has been a revelation since 2019. Everything has become so absurd on a daily basis. Even a person doing an order that sounds like the meme barely even registers now. 

In a really enlightening interview with Paste, the comedian joked about how the kind of awkwardness in everyday situations powers his act. Watching how people reacted to this TikTok, it’s hard to argue with Robinson’s larger point.

“I think most of us have it on some level,” Robinson says of anxiety. “Some worse than others. It’s just this protection of your pride. Everybody in the room knows that a mistake happened or that they embarrassed themselves, or made one faux pas—everybody knows but then the refusal to admit it is funny to me.” 

Everyone might feel the tug of awkwardness from time to time. But, not all of us are living out that life in the drive-thru lane. Luckily, our friend with all that food didn’t have to pay the price!
