‘The longest con ever’: She learns her boyfriend is cheating with an Arizona woman. So she lures him into a fake $50,000 deal to expose him everywhere
Some lies get harder to carry the closer they get to home
Finding out your boyfriend is cheating usually makes keeping a straight face difficult. Learning where he went and then casually bringing up that same city takes a different level of patience.
TikToker Taylor Paré (@paretay) apparently decided she did not need to reveal what she knew immediately. Instead, she let her boyfriend answer questions while creating an imaginary opportunity that could put him in a very uncomfortable position. Sometimes, finding out about the other woman is only the beginning.
Paré claimed she discovered that her boyfriend had flown to Phoenix to meet a woman named Jesi after connecting on Luxy. But when asked whether he had ever been to Arizona, he offered a different story: He had gone there years ago for work. Paré did not challenge him just yet.
“How can he not tell that you’re f***ing with him?”
“Oh, Arizona. You know where I want to go? Phoenix,” Paré began.
Her boyfriend initially suggested Scottsdale before confirming that he had visited Arizona. Asked when, he first answered “two years ago,” then changed that to “some years ago for work.” When Paré asked whether he knew anybody there, he offered another vague answer, mentioning that he “probably” had some classmates in Arizona.
Paré then gave him a reason to return. She claimed she had landed a brand deal with an all-inclusive Phoenix resort and could bring him along for free. He initially said he would rather visit Utah and its national parks, but the imaginary offer soon became considerably harder to ignore.
Paré told him she would receive $50,000 for becoming an ambassador and that the trip would include a resort stay, massages, parties, and plenty of social media promotion. There was just one catch: He would have to be publicly identified as the person traveling with her.
That detail immediately generated questions. He wanted to know whether his face and name really needed to appear. Paré assured him they did. Then she took the fictional campaign much further, claiming the two of them would appear together on billboards throughout Phoenix and Scottsdale.
“Billboards?” he asked.
Paré insisted they were real billboards and told him his actual name and social media handle would be included. When he accused her of making the whole thing up, she continued the story, even claiming a billionaire’s daughter was behind the campaign and that millions of people could see it.
The exchange becomes considerably more pointed knowing Paré allegedly already had information about his Phoenix trip. A relationship can look perfectly ordinary from one person’s side even while someone else is being kept completely outside the story. Paré, however, was no longer asking questions without knowing where they might lead.
Eventually, the conversation shifted to women in Scottsdale. Her boyfriend described them as “Barbies,” mentioning blonde hair and cosmetically enhanced features. When Paré asked whether that was his type, he replied, “I hate it.” He also denied ever dating a woman who looked like that.
The clip has drawn around 1 million views, with many viewers amazed that her boyfriend seemingly did not pick up on the sarcasm running through the conversation. “Literally how can he not tell that you’re f***ing with him,” one person commented.
“The way the whole time you sound so sarcastic is killing me,” another wrote. One viewer wanted Paré to take the act even further, joking, “Please marry this man and do the longest con ever.”
In another video, Paré revealed that she eventually broke up with him. She said she was recovering at her mother’s home and described the relationship as a “reactive, abusive situation” she had not recognized at the time. Paré also claimed she now believes the woman he allegedly flew to Phoenix to meet may have been a sex worker.
