The Hunger Games Trailer We All Were Waiting For [Muppets]

May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor

After sucessfully making cracks at Green Lantern, generic romantic comedies, The Hangover 2, Twilight, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Paranormal Activity, Puss in Boots, Happy Feet, and finally their own first trailer, the people behind the Muppets publicity promised us no more parody trailers.

This was apparently a devious lie, as they’ve prepared this parody trailer for their DVD release, about a certain movie that I know a lot of you are very excited about. Personally, I don’t think it quite measures up to their other productions (or maybe I’m getting tired of those fart shoes being the punchline of at least one joke in every trailer), but the combination of the two concepts is pretty delicious.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
