Watch “Joseph Gordon-Levitt” Make Batman Dance With His “Call Me Maybe” Parody

Fans Do Cool Things

Look, I still haven't listened to this "Call Me Maybe" song in its entirety and I really don't want to. Getting the Wesley Freitas-directed "Batman Maybe" in my head is good enough. Plus, this Russ Russo guy does a spot-on concerned Christian Bale face. Watch as Blake from The Dark Knight Rises tries to get Batman back into action. Man, things would have been a lot different if Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character took this approach in the film, wouldn't it? (Editors Note: Technically there are some TDKR spoilers in the video, watch at your own risk.)

The Actual Cast of Star Wars Sings Call Me Maybe

For A More Civilized Age

Look, you're talking to a person who has had the eight bar bridge and only the eight bar bridge of "Call Me Maybe" stuck in my head for at least an hour every day of the past week. If there is anybody out there less inclined to enjoy another internet version of "Call Me Maybe," it's me. But  feel like some sort of tribute must be made to the person who put this video together. (via Geeks are Sexy.)

Star Wars “Call Me Maybe” Has Too Much Hayden Christensen, Is Still Cool [Video]

"Call Me Maybe" has begged for parody from the moment it left Carly Rae Jepsen's windpipe. A new entry into the arena of YouTube spoofs comes in the form of this version of Jepsen's hit song; but with Star Wars! I don't think Carly Rae Jepsen saw this one coming. I don't think George Lucas saw this one coming, but here it is: "Call Me Maybe" cut together from Star Wars dialogue. Pour yourself a glass of blue milk, sit back, relax, and enjoy something that Hayden Christensen only kind of ruins.

Not too long ago, a new Internet challenger appeared, a girl who entered a contest where participants had to cover a Justin Bieber song, with the prize being the Biebs himself showing the best video on some upcoming him-centric television special. It was an obvious, though great, parody, where the girl assumed the role of an overly attached girlfriend or stalker type. She was very good at it, and the lyrics were actually entertaining as well. Now, she's back with a parody of everyone's current "favorite" song, "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen. Like her Bieber song, we've captured some pretty good moments and put them after the break for your perusal and horror.

Parody of Call Me Maybe Might Be The Best Thing This Week [Video]

And so it was that Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" was parodied with such panache that all future parodies dimmed in comparison. The fantastic folks behind The Key of Awesome! have really outdone themselves this time with a hilarious take on the implications of maybe calling someone. If only every song were a list of things seemingly not connected to each other.
