Bungie Staff Poke Fun at Their Awkward Sony Event Appearance With a Surprising Level of Self-Awareness

During Sony's event where they finally revealed the long-expected PlayStation 4, Bungie was brought on stage to reveal that their newest video game, Destiny, would also be coming to Sony's next-gen console. Unfortunately for Bungie, someone apparently told their presenters to look as awkward as possible. It was... painful, to say the least. The image above came out shortly after as a direct result, and the entire Internet chuckled at their seeming discomfort. Now Bungie has accepted this fate, and posted a photo of the entire staff in blazers trying to look just as awkward.

Bungie’s Destiny Concept Art and Story Details Leak

Put down Halo 4 for a minute and look at this. Someone leaked art and other assets from Destiny, the next video game from Bungie. The documents were leaked to IGN and confirmed by Bungie to have come from an advertising agency. In response to the leaked art, Bungie went ahead and released the above image to show off what they have in the works. Along with the leaked images, the documents included some details about the story of the game. Potential spoilers ahead, folks.

Halo Fan Makes Incredible SPARTAN-II Armor [Pics]

Digital artist Edward M. Ryan has come up with some impressive Halo-inspired creations in the past, but this really takes the cake: A fantastic suit of finished SPARTAN-II armor that even got a shout-out from Bungie. Sorry Students: Halo: Reach Comes Out on September 14th

Sorry kids.  You're going to have to do your homework before logging on to Halo: Reach.  Bungie has announced the release date for the next installment in its history-making first-person-shooter, and it's September 14th. At the same time, they've announced some demographic info on the Reach beta, and the numbers are impressive.

Activision and Bungie Make a 10-Year Deal: Bungie Games for Wii and PS3 Coming Soon?

Well, this is an interesting development: Bungie, the video game developer behind the Halo series, among others, which spun off from Microsoft in 2007, and Activision, the mega-sized game publisher, have struck an "exclusive 10-year partnership to bring Bungie’s next big action game universe to market."

While many gamers' knee-jerk reaction here will be to bring up Infinity Ward, the Modern Warfare 2 developer which recently sued Activision for hundreds of millions of dollars, alleging nonpayment of royalties and other bonuses, Bungie will retain ownership of its intellectual property.
