Fun & Fighting In Lauren Faust’s Super Best Friends Forever [VIDEO]

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

We here at The Mary Sue are super excited for Lauren Faust’s Super Best Friends Forever short in DC Nations’ Cartoon Network block. It should be premiering sometime this month and we have a feeling we’re going to want to see a lot more than just a short of it. In the meantime, how about checking out this brief video interview with Faust as well as creator Lynell Forestall talking about his Black Lightning short.

You of course know Faust from her work on The Powerpuff Girls and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. The DC Nation programming block premiered this past weekend on Cartoon Network. I recorded it but haven’t had a chance to watch, though everyone I talked to said they really loved it. Can’t wait to see the Super Best Friends Forever (Supergirl, Batgirl, and Wonder Girl) in action or to see what Black Lightning’s kids are like!
