Comedian Baratunde Thurston is a really smart guy — philosophy degree from Harvard, Director’s Fellow for MIT’s Media Lab, best-selling author — but as far as we know jet engine physics aren’t really his field. That’s why he went to GE’s Global Research Center to learn about sucking, squeezing, banging, and blowing… for science.
