Stranger Things Kids Harmonize and Decorate Waffles, Win Our Hearts

In a video for BuzzFeed Celeb, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin talked about what the set of Netflix’s Stranger Things was like while decorating waffles.

In between giggles and fighting for different food spray colors, we learn that they became friends right away and have a group chat. Matarazzo makes everyone laugh and is the most like his character, which is comforting since it means Brown isn’t a government experiment with incredible power like Eleven. Brown, on the other hand, calls herself the “serious one” who’d try and get everyone back on track amidst cracking up during takes. The three also reveal they often sing for no reason and harmonize out of nowhere, which isn’t surprising considering how musically talented this cast is. Their adorable banter and dynamic make me want a behind-the-scenes so bad are have me so excited for season 2.

The three also poked fun at Finn Wolfhard, who didn’t make it to the waffle video. Apparently, in the school scene of the last episode (which Brown says was her favorite), Wolfhard, and not Matarazzo, was supposed to carry her! At the end, the three reveal their waffle designs: Brown’s is a “hot mess” like Eleven, McLaughlin’s is organized like Lucas, and Matarazzo’s “I don’t know but it looks awesome.” Could the casting be any more perfect?
