Storm Proof Matches: The Most Efficient and Dangerous Matches Ever [Video]

Strike anywhere matches seem dangerous enough, that is, until one learns of the existence of REI’s Storm Proof Matches, matches that seem unable to be extinguished. The above video showcases a few tests where the matches’ flames burn strong after the matches are stomped on, buried in sand, drowned in a puddle, then subjected to a combination of all three. Apparently, the flame will not go out until the actual sulfur coating finishes burning on its own.
