Patty Duke and George Takei Make Star Trek-Centric Social Security PSAs, Make Fun of Kirk in the Process

Patty Duke and George Takei have teamed up to promote Social Security’s online services in a series of new PSAs. The television icons, knowing where the hearts of the viewers lie, center the videos around Star Trek references, once even putting on pointy ears. The whole thing is even set on the greenscreen deck of a spaceship. In this video of the series they take a swing at a certain captain, saying that the new service is “so easy, even Kirk could do it.”
