She Met a Man at a Strip Club Who Says He’s a Great Husband. Then He Showed Her How He Spies on His Wife: ‘My Heart Sank’
He loves her so much, he just couldn't let her out of his sight.
Karma (@karmantics), who has been working in the nightlife scene for seven years, recounted an interaction with a married customer. Although he claimed to be a good husband, Karma alleged that he was spying on his wife and child.
Karma told TikTok that women should listen to other women from the sex work industry. She explained, “We see a side of men that a lot of women, hopefully, never have to see, but unfortunately, don’t end up seeing ’til it’s too late and end up in a relationship with somebody who’s like this.” With her extensive experience, Karma says she’s seen a lot. However, a recent interaction with a customer had “disgusted” Karma.
“I’m sitting at a booth with a section of men. I’m chatting with one of them, and he’s telling me how much he loves his wife. Of course, right?” Karma said, noting the irony of seeing a married man in a strip club. She claimed the man praised his wife, saying he loves her and he would do anything for her. He also allegedly said he’s “such a good husband.” Because he didn’t want his wife to worry about him being at a strip club, he said he left his personal phone at the hotel.
“Oh, so you lied to her?” Karma asked the man. Unlike this woman who left her boyfriend of thirteen years right before they got married, the one in Karma’s story is already married to her customer. Nevertheless, the man didn’t deny lying.
“Yeah, but I’m just looking out for her,” the man allegedly replied. After that, Karma said he pulled out his business phone. The man allegedly told her that his wife didn’t know about the second phone he kept with him.
Spying on her while at a strip club
“He then proceeds to pull up the home camera on his second business phone and show me live footage of his wife and his daughter in bed, sleeping,” Karma alleged. The man allegedly reasoned that he wanted to make sure that his wife and daughter were in bed and not trying to locate him. Karma said that before he snuck out and left his personal phone in the hotel, he made sure that his family was asleep.
The home security camera also sends notifications to the man’s phone whenever the device detects movement. That way, he would know when to rush back to the hotel and stand by for a call from his wife.
“So, not only are you a [expletive] disgusting person, you’re showing me footage of your wife sleeping? I don’t even know if she knew about those cameras. But when I saw that, my heart sank,” Karma stated. She believes that her customer maintains his reputation as a “good husband” at home. However, Karma couldn’t help but express her disgust at the man.
“You just never [expletive] know what these men are up to,” she added. Other women in her comment section have also shared their unsavory experiences as night workers. One woman said that as a dancer, she’s seen neighbors’ husbands, cops, doctors, lawyers, firefighters, and more in these seedy places.
Another woman wrote, “He’ll do anything for her except be a good man.” While this man couldn’t be honest about his whereabouts, another man left his wife after her twelve-hour nursing shift.
