This Rogue One Trailer Remix Gives the Rebellion a New Soundtrack

Sadly, there’s still a small waiting period left before we have the opportunity to plop ourselves down in the theater and get wrapped up in that galaxy far, far away. In the meantime, Star Wars fans are definitely down to keep the hype going–and one of the ways is via some awesome trailer remixes.

YouTube user Matthew Longua put together this version of the Rogue One trailer with a track that differs more than sliiiightly from those recognizable John Williams scores.

“Sabotage” by the Beastie Boys is a song that has perhaps more famously been used in Star Wars‘ rival franchise, Star Trek, but as both a diehard SW fan and a newbie Trekkie I’m willing to set aside all differences to embrace the fact that this song is completely fitting for Rogue One (dare I say it works even better here than it did in Star Trek Beyond?).

I’ve always considered myself more of a Rebellion-aligned individual than someone who would fall in line with the Empire, especially if it means I get to adopt this song as my unofficial Rebel anthem.

Have you seen any other fun trailer mashups out there lately? Send ’em our way!
