“Mommy Tummy” Has a Kicking Balloon Fetus

It's Aliiiiiiiiiiiive!

Japanese researchers have developed the “Mommy Tummy,” a jacket that allows men to get an idea of what it’s like to carry a fetus for nine months. Nothing goes inside of course, but what sets it apart from your usual strap-on belly is that it’s filled with water and lined with balloons that are wired up to act like a fetus. Wait wait, hear us out for a second. If you caress the belly, the “fetus” will respond by “kicking,” and the balloons will inflate. The size also expands over the course of nine months.
