Go, Go and Watch the First Clip From Power Rangers

It's Morphin' time.

To mark the first day that tickets are on sale for Power Rangers, Lionsgate has released an official clip from the film. Let’s rocket.

The big-screen Power Rangers comes out on March 24th and cost a cool $120 million to make. Lionsgate is betting the big bucks that Power Rangers, given a slick modern overhaul, will appeal to a brand new audience—as well as those still nostalgic for the rainbow-colored Haim Saban original series.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was never high-quality television when it debuted in 1993, but it was a fun romp of teenagers combining their powers to save the world from cartoonish villains every weekday afternoon. The franchise, which generated multiple shows, toys, and games, remains massive, impossible to avoid for kids and adults across the subsequent decades.

The new take on Power Rangers looks fancy and theoretically darker, with the clip showing the five soon-to-be Rangers happening upon an intricately designed, mysterious alien ship. What origin story awaits them inside?! And, more importantly, do you plan on seeing Power Rangers?

Bonus! You can watch the original Pink Ranger, Amy Jo Johnson, interview the new Rangers in a surprise interview, if you need more. May the power protect you.
