UPDATE:

The 20th anniversary of Pokémon is upon us (tomorrow)! Today, Nintendo has some “big news” coming for the franchise in what appears to be a relatively short Nintendo Direct presentation. Tune in right here at 10am PT to see what’s new with Pikachu and friends.

**Possible announcement spoilers below if that kind of thing bothers you.**

However, after some Twitter users made the trademark registrations for the games look like a hoax, no one is quite sure if that’s what we should expect today or not, but we’re about to find out.
