Woman lies to Las Vegas EMTs after chugging Buzzball. Then her friends realize they brought a ‘Pick Me’ on trip: ‘Faked being poisoned by a Sago Palm’

A woman surprises her best friend with a trip to Las Vegas for her birthday. However, the trip quickly turns sour when she notices “pick me” behavior from her friend that becomes dangerous.
In a video with over 1.7 million views, TikToker Sky (@skyullman) shares a video of her unnamed friend lying on the floor of a Las Vegas casino. EMTs surround her, and she wears her sunglasses.
What ‘pick me’ behavior ruined the Las Vegas trip?
On-screen text explains, “The trip being all about her wasn’t enough so she faked being poisoned by [sago] palm after she downed a whole biggie ball before 8am.”
A “biggie ball,” or Buzzball Biggie, is a 1.5 liter 15% alcohol premixed cocktail. Sago palms, a common plant in Las Vegas, are extremely toxic to humans and animals. However, she would need to ingest the plant in order to be “poisoned.”
The caption shares how they found out she faked the incident. It reads, “The EMTs told me she was faking it before they wheeled her off in a stretcher because ‘it’s procedure.’ Needless to say, she’s not coming on our next vacation.”
In a follow-up video, Sky suggests the incident wasn’t the only reckless behavior she noticed from her friend. She posts another clip of her friend separating her eyelashes with a knife.
Can vacations strain friendships?
Some travelers on Reddit suggest you don’t truly know someone until you’ve been in close quarters with them on a vacation. Several members of the r/travel subreddit share why their friendships ended on group trips.
“She brought a man into the room for sex while I was asleep. I wasn’t asleep long,” one writes.
Another shares, “Went to London with two friends and found out we have nothing in common. They decided to spend a whole day at the mall searching for shoes.”
“This person tried to dictate the entire weekend, was generally [expletive] and just ruined the whole vibe of the trip. [She] forced everyone to go home early on the last day because she had something else planned that she didn’t previously tell anyone about before agreeing to go, and she needed a ride home,” a third adds.
Commenters on the viral TikTok also share their stories.
“One my friends did the exact same thing by faking a allergic reaction, when we went to the lake house that was two hours from the nearest hospital,” a viewer says.
“I had a friend like this once and it was insanely exhausting but she knew how to get us into whatever,” a second writes. Sky responds, “I’m the friend that can get us into whatever, she’s the friend that chose to make us skip 4/6 of the guest lists we were on while pulling this sh–.”
