Remember when we got our first glimpse at what the second season of Outlander was going to look like? I hear your excitement, sassenachs, because mine is multiplied tenfold.
Yesterday the official Twitter account for the TV show gave us a follow-up to that teaser–diving deeper into the deception and richness that will make up season 2. And I mean literal richness, because Jamie and Claire are dressed to the nines and living in a super swanky apartment in France-but it’s not all fancy parties and good food. Claire knows all about the fate of the Jacobites during the Battle of Culloden, and now that Jamie knows she’s from the future, well–it’s up to the two of them to stop an army of men from being completely wiped out.
Check out the trailer below (which includes some interview bits with stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe and showrunner Ronald D. Moore), and start counting down the remaining days to April with me:
