Once Upon A Time in Conversation: “The Other Shoe”

Recommended Videos

Once Upon a Time was back and brand-new last night, and here’s our open thread to discuss! (This is definitely a preferred alternative to the other thing that aired last night, right?) As always, if you DVR’d the episode or are waiting on your OUaT buddy to watch the episode with you, tread lightly: there be spoilers here.

Last night, the show addressed more of the backstory of a returning face to Storybrooke: Ashley (a.k.a. Ella), and it turns out her relationship with “wicked” stepsister Clorinda is way more complicated than we were first led to believe. Emma decided to take her relationship with Hook to the next level by moving in together–although she did have a bunch of hang-ups about it, given that whole “no happy ending” bit–and Snow was seriously considering returning to her schoolteacher roots. Also: am I the only one side-eyeing this Dr. Jekyll/Dr. Whale pairing? Keeping secrets about what’s in your fridge is never a solid foundation for friendship. Let’s discuss in the comments!
