‘No decency… no decorum’: Trump rages at female journalist, implies double the size is not double the price in his books

United States President Donald Trump has definitely built a reputation for himself regarding media interactions, especially with female journalists. Let’s just say he isn’t the most pleasant during such encounters, and these moments almost always become hot topics of discussion, with most people criticizing his behavior.

Trump has once again found himself involved in a similar controversy. Currently, a video of him is going viral on social media, particularly on platforms like X (formerly Twitter). It shows him losing his temper over a female reporter when she tries to ask him a follow-up question after he has answered a related one. Many people have commented on the matter on the platform, with most condemning his actions.

Trump misbehaves with a female journalist again

In his second term as the president of the United States, Trump has made several bold decisions and comments. While some have been appreciated, others have not been so much. Regardless, there has always been room for discussion and dialogue on these topics.

As previously mentioned, Trump’s interaction with a female journalist is currently gaining significant attention on X. In the clip, Trump tells a female reporter that the ballroom under construction at the White House was within budget and that he doubled its size because it was necessary. Another journalist, or possibly the same one, then states that the ballroom’s cost had also perhaps doubled, which follows logically from Trump’s previous statement and aligns with several reports indicating the project’s budget had doubled. This comment provoked Trump, and he responded, “I doubled the size of it, you dumb person. Double the size. You are not a smart person.”

In other news, Trump is okay with a partial nuclear power suspension for Iran

After Trump failed to secure a deal with Iran on the grounds that they would not possess nuclear arms or have the means to develop them, he settled for a lesser agreement.

In an article published by the BBC on May 15, 2026, it was stated that Donald Trump, speaking to reporters on Air Force One after talks in Beijing with Chinese President Xi Jinping, said he would agree to a 20-year suspension by Iran of its nuclear program. The article also mentioned that when a reporter suggested that twenty years was not enough, Trump said: “Twenty years is enough, but the level of guarantee from them, in other words, it’s got to be a real 20 years.”
